Event Planning

Hello everyone! For those of you who do not know me, my name is Wilma van Oort. I am twenty-two years old and have just published my first novel, "A New Beginning." This first novel has been a great accomplishment and has given me confidence and strengh to begin another novel. However, this is the start of an entire series based in Rosedale, my hometown, in the 1900s.

Currently I am planning a book signing event which has taken much out of me. So, today I was sitting at my computer feeling sorry for myself because I could not find any sites on the web to help with the event, when all of a sudden a small robin flew up on to the window ledge beside me. At first I just watched it but soon I realised how carefree this littel bird was and I had to smile. The bird noticed me but did not fly away, instead, it moved closer and let out a soft, 'peep'. Again I smiled and before I knew it, all my worries vanished.

I thought to myself, "If only I could be as carefree as this beautiful bird; life would be so much simpler."
